Bildad speaks to Job about GOD's greatness

In Job chapter 25, Bildad speaks to Job for the third and final time. His speech is very short. He talks about God's greatness and the sinfulness of human beings. Bildad begins by saying that God is powerful and worthy of respect. God rules over heaven and brings peace to His creation.

He says that God's armies are too many to count and that His light shines on everyone. Bildad then asks how a human being can be righteous before such a holy God. He explains that compared with God's perfect holiness, no person is completely pure.

He says that even the moon and the stars are not perfectly pure in God's sight. Bildad compares people to tiny creatures to show how small and weak humans are when compared with the greatness of God.

Although Bildad is correct that God is holy and people are sinners who need God's mercy, he is still wrong to think that Job's suffering proves he has committed great sins. The Bible has already shown that Job was a faithful man who loved God. His suffering was not a punishment but a test that God allowed.

This chapter reminds us that God is holy, powerful, and perfect. It also reminds us that everyone needs God's grace and forgiveness. As Christians, we know that Jesus Christ makes us right with God. We cannot become righteous by our own efforts, but through faith in Him.

This chapter teaches us to respect God's holiness, depend on His mercy, and avoid judging others by their troubles.
